Letitia J. Dougherty, 68, of Hanover Township passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Wagoner Bevan.

Letitia was a graduate of Dallas High School.

She was employed in janitorial services and worked in area schools and nursing facilities.

A former resident of Hazleton and of Wilkes-Barre for 32 years, Letitia had resided in Hanover Township for the past seven years.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her husband, Michael F. Dougherty.

Surviving are her son, Charles Dougherty, Hanover Township; and sister, Pearl Bevan, Hanover Township.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from Harold C. Snowdon Home for Funerals Inc., 420 Wyoming Ave., Kingston. Lts. Ted and Sharon Tressler of the Wilkes-Barre Salvation Army will officiate.

Interment will be made in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton.

Friends may call from noon until the time of service on Thursday.
