Robert Santarelli, 74, of Clarks Summit passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 22, 1939, son of the late Cesare Santarelli and the former Giulia Luzioli.

He was the founder of Olympic Pools, Exeter, in 1966.

Preceding him in death were his sisters, Irma Ninotti and Lillian Santarelli.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Santarelli, Laflin; daughters, Lori and husband, Paul Galato, Media; Kendall and husband, George Place, Meshoppen; and Carlee, Los Angeles, Calif.; and sons, Scott, Clarks Summit; Robert Jr., Wyoming; and Anthony and wife, Corinne, Factoryville. Also surviving are sisters, Jean Harrison, Shavertown; Lola Santarelli, West Wyoming; and Norma Williamson, Swoyersville. Also surviving are his four grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his two beloved dogs, Sheba and Selena.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the care that they gave to their father.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church of St. Barbara's Parish, Exeter.

Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Caverton.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
