Ryan Keith Cwalina, 24, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after a battle with cancer.

He was born June 30, 1989, in Kingston, a son of Theresa Ellsworth Cwalina and the late Stanley B. Cwalina. He was a graduate of Coughlin High School and Wilkes-Barre Vocational Technical School.
Ryan enjoyed camping, watching NASCAR races and the Dallas Cowboys. He was known for his big blue eyes and long eyelashes.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Stanley T. Cwalina; uncles, Thomas and Robert John Cwalina; and aunts, Lisa Ellsworth and Mary Ellen Ellsworth.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his stepfather, Walter Danko Sr.; brothers, Jason Cwalina and his fiancée, Christina Butry, and Richard Brown; maternal grandparents, Howard and Mary Theresa Mitchell Ellsworth; paternal grandmother, Anna Cwalina; aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, a stepbrother and stepsisters.
Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
