Elizabeth Herriotts, 84, of Mountain Top passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Smith Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a recent guest.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Frances Miller Rother.
Prior to her retirement, Elizabeth worked for the Dana Perfume Corp. in Mountain Top.
She was a member of St. Jude's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society and was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, John, and brothers, Paul and Robert.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen Bugay and husband, Tom, Punxsutawney; Kathleen Herriott and friend, Kay, Keystone Heights, Fla.; and Kimberly Sauerwine, Wilmington, Del.; grandchildren, Kallie, Katie, Justin and Kristina; a sister, Virginia Helfrich, Ashley; and brothers, Charles Rother and wife, Margie, Levittown; and Donald Rother, Wilkes-Barre. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday from McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Jude's Church. Mountain Top.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
