Geraldine Patricia Dillon Wasiakowski, 85, of 1 E. Green St., Nanticoke, formerly of Orchard Street, Nanticoke, passed away late Tuesday night, April 8, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was born in Nanticoke on June 20, 1928, and was the daughter of the late James and Anna Grabowski Dillon.

Geraldine was a graduate of Nanticoke High School and a member of St. Faustina Parish, Nanticoke, formerly St. Francis of Assisi.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brothers, William and Edward Burke and James Dillon.

Presently surviving are her loving husband, Bernard; sons, Bernard Jr., Gerard, Keith and Cory; daughters, Colleen Brosh, Doreen Wills, Gerardette Kaspryzk, Noreen Jones and Nadine Kowalchin; sisters, June Stone, Marion Obniski and Barbara Mack; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish (Holy Trinity Church) with the Rev. James Nash officiating.

Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Friends are invited to join the family for calling hours that will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
