Betty Williams, 91, formerly of Plymouth, entered into eternal rest on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Wesley Village Partridge Tippet Nursing Center.

Born in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Clara Thomas Williams and attended Plymouth High School.
Betty worked for many years as a presser for the Wilkes-Barre Pioneer Dress Factory and retired from the Woodbury Manufacturing Co. She was also a longtime member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union.
Betty was a member of the Plymouth Christian Church, where she was an active member of the choir and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a faithful member of her church and enjoyed helping with all the church events.
She was a sweet, kind and loving person who touched the lives of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family. We will forever remember her contagious smile.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Vera Morgan and Virginia Langan, and brothers, Lewis Jerry Williams and Raymond Williams.
She is survived by her nephew, Lewis Williams and his wife, Nita; niece, Bonnie Kalish and her husband, William; niece, Susan DeSandre and her husband, Michael; four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday from William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. David Quesenberry officiating.
Interment will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Plymouth Township.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
