Ann Turon, 79, of West Wyoming passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, in the Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre.

Born April 13, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Lou and Anna Ptaszek Kwiatkowski.
She was a member of St. Monica's Parish, West Wyoming, the Red Hat Society and the Wyoming/West Wyoming Seniors Club.
Ann was employed as a seamstress in the garment industry and was a supervisor for Revlon Cosmetics until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Turon; sisters, Pauline Sieminski and Veronica Skilonger; and brother, Louis.
Surviving are her daughters, Sharon Aronovitch and her husband, Charles, Tallahassee, Fla.; and Paulette Turon and her companion, Harry Zweier, Wyoming; grandson, Christopher Turon, West Wyoming; sister, Marianne Paluck, Wyoming; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Monica's Parish, West Wyoming.
Entombment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Family and friends are asked to go directly to church on Friday morning.
