Nicole A. Wrobel, 35, of Nanticoke passed away Tuesday evening, April 22, 2014, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre, on March 30, 1979, a daughter to Robert and Andrea Burcha Wrobel. She attended GAR Memorial High School and also attended Allied Medical and Technical Institute, where she became a certified veterinary technician.
Nicole loved animals and had a gift for working with them. She was also a talented and artistic cake decorator. She had been employed by That Bounce Place, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eleanor and Raoul Wrobel; and her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Myrtle Burcha.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her son, Aidan Matthew Miner, Centermoreland; her fiance, Larry Barnes, Nanticoke; brother, Christopher Polinski, Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Brandy Schaffer, Ivyland; and Rebecca Wrobel, Pittston.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Shawn Walker officiating. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
