Francis W. Wolman, 62, of Drums, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 26, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton, after becoming ill at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, on Dec. 16, 1951, he was the son of Francis H. Wolman, Kingston; and the late Florence J. (Vucikowski) Wolman. He spent the past 34 years in Drums after moving from Wilkes-Barre.

Francis was a senior vice president and senior loan officer at Jim Thorpe Neighborhood Bank, Jim Thorpe, and was a member of the Jim Thorpe Rotary. He was a member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, Conyngham, and was a Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus, Council 8613, Conyngham, and Assembly 937, Hazleton. He served with the National Guard during the floods in 1972 and was a member of American Legion Post 655, Larksville. He was awarded the Eagle Scout designation with Kingston Troop 154, in 1966 and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife of the past 40 years, the former Deborah Hayes; a son, Christopher and his wife, Denise, Albrightsville; a daughter, Kelly Bauer, Summit Hill; three grandchildren, Sarah, Brian, and Sierra Bauer; two sisters, Janice Pascucci and her husband, Michael, Plant City, Fla.; and Sandra Humenansky and her husband, David, Orwigsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Tuesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, Conyngham. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
