Frank (Peck) Guerin of Dallas, formerly of Larksville, passed away on his 97th birthday, Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

He was born in Larksville, a son of the late Albert and Sarah (Sadie) Warman Guerin, and attended the Larksville schools.
Frank was known for his coal and general hauling business in Plymouth for many years.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent many hours at his summer home on the pond in Laceyville. He also had a love of riding motorcycles.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and received the Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, the former Lillian Cooper, who passed away Jan. 2 of this year.
He is survived by a daughter, Tara Lyn Lawson and her husband, Jeffery Sr., Sweet Valley; a son, Albert Frank Guerin, Larksville; three grandchildren, Jeffery Lawson Jr. and his wife, Toni, Mountain Top; Jacob Frank Lawson, Paris Island; and Lacy Lyn Lawson, Sweet Valley; and two great-grandchildren, Lukas and Logan, Mountain Top. He will be sadly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at the convenience of the family.
