Eleanor C. Kulick, 89, of Plymouth passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

She was born April 14, 1925, to Bronislaus and Sophie Kluchinski. Bronislaus passed away when Eleanor was 2 years old. Sophie later married Barney Paucke and they raised Eleanor in Hanover Township. She was a graduate of Hanover High School.
She lived most of her adult life in Plymouth, with her late husband, Frank. Later, she spent several years residing with her daughter, Sandi, in South Carolina, and recently returned back to the Wyoming Valley.
She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Plymouth.
Throughout her life, she greatly enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her granddaughters. She took pleasure in taking trips to casinos and trying new restaurants with her family and many friends. Eleanor really loved the mountains and scenery of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Frank K. Kulick, who passed away March 20, 2009; brother, Walter Pauke; and sister, Dorothy Paucke.
Surviving are her loving children, Frank M. Kulick and his wife, Marian, Larksville; and Sandi A. Matthews and her husband, Mark, Bluffton, S.C.; granddaughters, Amy Matthews, Annapolis, Md.; and Suzie Matthews and her partner, Catherine McKenzie, Santa Fe, N.M.; sister-in-law, Nancie Paucke; and a nephew and nieces, Joe Paucke, Beth Stephens and Judy Silvastrini. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members and many friends.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by Divine Liturgy at 11 a.m. in Ss Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Plymouth.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Plymouth Township.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. A Parastas service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Volodymyr Popyk.
Eleanor's family would like to thank the staff at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, and especially to Dr. Yanonshak, for their care and compassion. They would also like to thank Toni Grasso for all of the comfort she gave to Eleanor over the past few years.
