Helen M. Woznicki, 98, of Dallas passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.

Born in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Halka Szela. She had moved to the Back Mountain in 1936.
She was an inspector with Natona Mills and had also worked at Linear and Singer companies.
Helen was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas.
She loved to sew and crochet.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Woznicki, in 1989, and brothers, Stanley, Frank, John, Ted and Joe Szela.
She is survived by her sons, Walter and Theodore Woznicki, both of Dallas; and daughter, Mary Richard and her husband, George, Dallas.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. Thomas Cesarini officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
