Audrey Korba, 78, of Hanover Township beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, May 16, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

Her loving husband is, Simon Korba. Together, Simon and Audrey, have shared 31 beautiful years of marriage. They celebrated their wedding anniversary on April 21, 2014.
Audrey was born Aug. 30, 1935, in Wilkes-Barre, and she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helene James. Raised in Wilkes Barre, Audrey attended Meyers High School.
A homemaker for most of her life, she was employed for several years by Weis Markets.
Audrey was a devoted faithful member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Edwardsville, and was a member of the St. Vladimir's Women's Society.
She was filled with love for all who knew her. She loved to travel with her husband, and spend time with her family, especially on holidays, where her family and friends would gather at her home to celebrate.
In addition to her husband, Simon, Audrey is survived by her son, Joseph Guzenski and his wife, Mary, Hanover Township; daughter, Betty Paulson and her husband, James, Shavertown; son, James Guzenski and his wife, Catherine, of New York, New York; step-children; son, David Korba, Stroudsburg; daughter, Mary Ann Cook and her husband, Jimi, Maryland; son, Michael Korba, Colorado; son, Peter Korba and his wife, Nancy, Hanover Township. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, whom she adored and loved dearly, Jennifer and Jessica Guzenski, Meghan and Kyle Paulson, Simon, Daniel, and Ella Cook, Morgan and Abby Korba, Tyler and Logan Potsko; a sister, Shirley Honeychurch; and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Hampton House-ManorCare and to the nurses of the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, for their loving and compassionate care of Audrey.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. in St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 70 Zerby Ave., Edwardsville, with the Rev. Paul Wolensky, her pastor, officiating. Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Ss. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Plymouth Township.
Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth. Parastas service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
