Marie B. Muchler, 84, of Luzerne passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at her home.

She was born in Luzerne, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Pascavage Nametko, and was a graduate of Luzerne High School.
Marie was an avid bowler and golfer, and she was a great fan of the Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Elizabeth Gernhardt and Celtic Hospice for their wonderful care of Marie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Muchler; grandson, Jeffrey Muchler; brothers, Leo and Albert; and sisters, Helen, Stella, Margaret and Regina.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Muchler and wife, Elaine, Ocala, Fla.; daughters, Theresa Leland and husband, Richard, Plymouth; and Karen Allen and husband, Randy, Swoyersville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Fawn.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerby Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Dallas.
