Robert L. Dobinski (Dobrzynski), 78, of Kingston passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, in the River Run Nursing Facility, Kingston.

Born April 19, 1936, he was a son to the late Leon and Emily Gedrich Dobinski.
Robert grew up in Wilkes-Barre, where he attended local schools and was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Class of 1954. After graduation, Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard. Robert was enlisted for more than 30 years until his discharge in 1988.
Robert held employment with the Kingston Armory for many years as a custodian until his retirement.
He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Florence Waslin, and Martha Tomczak, and brothers, Edmund, Robert and John.
Robert is survived by nieces and nephews, and friend, Salome Meyers, Plymouth
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. this Friday in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains Township. The Rev. John Boyle will be officiating services.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Plains Township.
Friends and family may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass on Friday.
