Karen Ann Sulewski, 56, of Dallas passed away suddenly in her home Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

Born Nov. 6, 1957, in Wilkes-Barre, Karen was the daughter of Leon Brokenshire, Dallas, and the late Elizabeth Lewis Brokenshire.

She had been employed as a nurse by the former Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston, and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for the past 28 years.

Karen loved gardening and vacations with her family at the beach. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and sister and will truly be missed by her family. Karen thoroughly enjoyed her job as an IV therapist nurse. She made a lot of good friends with the girls she worked with and was well respected by all who knew her.
