Erma Yaletsko, 93, formerly of West Pittston, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Masonic Village of Elizabethtown.

Born in Noxen, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Edith Derby Sickler. She was educated in the Beaumont schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Owen Illinois for 21 years. She was a member of Eastern Star Martha Washington Chapter 3 Taylor.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Andrew Yaletsko Sr.; and grandson, Harry Yaletsko; brothers, Claude and Harry Sickler; and sister, Cleora Givens.

Surviving are daughters, Mary Lou Burns and her companion, Robert Pagoda, Elmhurst; Katherine Morrell and her husband, John, Scranton; sons, Andrew Yaletsko and his wife, Nancy, Philadelphia; Harry Yaletsko, Exeter Township; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Frank Andrews Shimkus officiating

Eastern Star services will be conducted at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Interment will be in the Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
