Irene F. Drazba, 72, of Ashley passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 6, 1941, a daughter of the late Ira and Elizabeth Ruhf Moyer. Irene was a graduate of Ashley High School.
She was an active member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Ashley, where she served on the board of trustees and as a chairwoman of its annual bazaar.
Irene was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flower garden.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank J. Drazba; and by her daughter, Ann Drazba, Ashley; sister, Audrey Hildebrand; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Drazba, Jeanette Phillips, Audrey Slavinski, Debra Lukas and her husband, John; Tim Drazba and his wife, Beth Ann, and Rebecca Murray; and by her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Her pastor, the Rev. Roger C. Noss Jr., will officiate.
Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
