Nancy A. Jacobs, 65, of Edwardsville passed away Tuesday evening, July 8, 2014, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born in Plains Township, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Younshousky Miller.
Nancy was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and was formerly employed as a program coordinator.
She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, and the Pennsylvanians for Human Life, Wyoming Valley Chapter.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Genevieve and Peter McMonigle.
Surviving are her daughter, Jeanina (Jina) Melnyk and her husband, Jason, Voorhees, N.J.; twin granddaughters, Joan and Julia Melnyk; brother, Stanley Miller and his wife, Donna, Boca Raton, Fla.; sisters, Rosemary Jones and her husband, Tom, Dallas; and Joan Burke and her husband, Gene, Midlothian, Va.; many nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday from Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
Interment will be held in St. Casmir's Cemetery, Pittston Township.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
