Ann Theresa Kelly Manfre, 87, a former longtime resident of Hanover Township, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at Little Flower Manor.

Born Nov. 6, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Veronica Kelly.
Ann was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School and retired from Bell Telephone Company (Verizon).
Mrs. Manfre was a member of the Parish of St. Robert Bellarmine and its Altar & Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Verizon Pioneers, St. Aloysius and St. Therese's Senior Citizens and volunteered at Mercy Hospital.
Her husband, Robert J. Manfre passed away Aug. 2, 1994.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Charles J. and his wife, Valerie; and Michael P. and his wife, Teresa; granddaughters, Michelle Manfre, Denise and her husband, Jesse Mendoza, Karen Manfre and Marie Manfre and her fiancé, Rob Miller; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Vera Manfre, Robbie, Zachary and Kaitlyn Miller; other family and friends.
The entire family is grateful to the staff which cared for Ann during her years at Little Flower Manor.
Celebration of Ann's Life will begin Sunday with visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. at McLaughlin's – The Family Funeral Service, 142 S. Washington St. in Wilkes-Barre. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. in the Chapel at Little Flower Manor, 200 South Meade Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
