Mary Orlowski, 98, of Plymouth Township passed away Saturday evening, July 12, 2014, in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Plymouth on June 6, 1916, and was the daughter of the late Wojeiech (George) and Tekla Dudek. She was a graduate of Harter High School, West Nanticoke.

Mrs. Orlowski was a member of All Saints Parish, the former St. Mary's Nativity Church, Plymouth, where she was a past member of St. Mary's PTA and Christian Mothers, and a current member of the Senior Citizens Friendship Club.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the United Pants Co., of Swoyersville and Plymouth, for 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed away in 2006; brothers and sisters, infant Thomas, who died at 2 years old, Stanley Dudek, Julia Kubick, Sophie Fostock, Ann Warus and John Dudek.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Orlowski, with whom she resided; son, John Orlowski and his wife, Nancy, Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Lisa, Sarabeth her partner, Peter Jason Grabko, and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Sydney Noel and Reed Thomas; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow St., Plymouth.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Township.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Mary's family would like to thank the Gentiva Health Service for the loving and compassionate care that they provided and especially Mary's nurses, Elaine, Meg, Marci and Lin. Also, they would like to thank Mary's physical therapist, Rich, her occupational therapist, Kelly, and her aide, Belinda. They would also like to extend a very special thank you to her private aide, Janie Frail, and Dr. John Citti.
