Catherine C. Fuller Williams, 67, of Blackman Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, passed into eternal life early Monday morning, July 14, 2014, following a prolonged and courageous battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Born Dec. 11, 1946, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter to the late Samuel K. and Marie Harrison Fuller Sr.

Educated in the city schools, she attended GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre.

Following her education, and until her retirement, Ms. Williams worked as a presser in the valley's local garment industry for many years.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry and Daniel Fuller; by her sisters, Henrietta Siewell and Linda Oliver; and by her companion of 25 years, Charles Askew.

Surviving are her children, Marie Williams, Laurel Run; David E. Williams and his wife, Amy, Wilkes-Barre Township; Wendy Williams, at home; William Williams and his wife, Keri, Hanover Township; and Chrisopher C. Williams, also of Hanover Township; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Samuel Fuller Jr., Plains Township; and Peter and James Fuller, Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Theresa Lyons and Joan Prednis, both of North Wilkes-Barre; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of Catherine's family from the Wilkes-Barre Heights location of John V. Morris Family Funeral Homes Inc., 281 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre. There will be no formal public visitation.
