James (Jimmy) Joseph Talarico, 52, a life resident of Old Forge, died Saturday morning, July 26, 2014, in Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton after a work accident.

He is survived by his beloved wife, loyal best friend, and childhood sweetheart since age 15, Denise Frati Talarico. He is also survived by his adoring daughters, Jade, Jewel and Rubi Talarico; his brother, Earl Talarico and wife, Kathy; his father and mother-in-law, Emil and Ginger Frati, all of Old Forge; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for at noon Tuesday in Holy Rosary Church in Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 127 Stephenson St. in Duryea, to be celebrated by the Rev. Andrew Sinnott, pastor. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Old Forge. Those wishing to attend the funeral are asked to go directly to church as viewing will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge.
