Marjorie Casterline Zimmerman, 89, of Edwardsville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, in Hospice Community Care, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

She was born Oct. 14, 1924, in Idetown, and was the daughter of the late Emil and Mattie Oney Casterline.
She was a member of the Larksville Mountain Full Gospel Church, the House of Prayer in Nanticoke, and the Rock Church in Pittston, where she was the organist for many years and helped with the children's choir and the school there.
Marge was formerly employed by Duplan Silk Mill in Kingston; Atwater Silk Mill, Plymouth; Russell; and worked for many years driving handicapped children for Simonitis Transportation.
She had a wonderful outlook on life and a very good sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Zimmerman; daughter, Jaqueline; brothers, Donald, Harold, Lewis, Larry, Nathaniel, Richard, Emil and Carl; and sisters, Dorothy Blaine and Grace.
She is survived by her children, Edward E. Zimmerman and his wife, Cathy, Bear Creek; Richard Zimmerman and his wife, Michele; and Milton Zimmerman and his wife, Donna, Plymouth; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Joe Dombeck; sister-in-law, Alberta Casterline; and sister-in-law, Serena Casterline.
The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and residents at the Village at Greenbriar who touched her life in many ways.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from Williams-Hagen Funeral Home Inc., 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Alan and Marie Littzi officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
