Anna Urban, 89, of Bloomsburg, formerly of Hanover Township and Plymouth, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Balanced Care of Bloomsburg.

Born March 10, 1925, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Frances Marchlewski Meleski.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, formerly St. Mary's Nativity Church, Plymouth.
Throughout her life, Anna greatly enjoyed quilting, crocheting and needlepoint. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughter, Mikaila, who called her Grammy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Urban, who passed away in 1967; brother, Louis Meleski; and sister, Mary Gates.
Surviving are her loving son, Vincent Urban and his wife, Linda, with whom she resided; granddaughter, Jennifer Drury and her husband, Daniel; great-granddaughter, Mikaila Drury; stepgrandchildren, Sean, Kevin and Erik Kile; niece and goddaughter, Marie Meleski.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow St., Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Township. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
