Nancy Marchetti, 75, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

She was born Nov. 16, 1938, in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Paul and Eleanor Gregory Lane.
She attended Wilkes-Barre schools and was a member of the Auxiliary of American Legion Post 199, and the P.A.V. Club.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved to spoil her dog, Yoko.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Nichols, in 1977, and her second husband, Akle Marchetti, in 1990; son, David Nichols, in 1968; son, Harry Nichols, in 1988,; and brother, Ernest Lane, in 1991.
Surviving are her sons, Gregory Nichols and his wife, Dina, and Eric Nichols; grandchildren, Wendy Monroe and her husband, Ken; Victoria, Nathan and Danielle; great-grandsons, Kenny and Kayson; and daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Evans. Also surviving is her companion of 20 years, Barry Ent Sr.
It was Nancy's wish that no services be held. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
