Nancy L. Bronack of Plains Township passed away Monday morning, Aug. 18, 2014, at Celtic Health Care, Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Plains Township, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Mariucci Santarelli. She was educated in the Plains Township schools and was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School. Nancy was employed in the local garment industry and was last employed at Leslie Fay, Plains Township. She was also employed by Stopay Candies.

She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, who passed away in 1995; and her daughter, Sandy, in 2013; sister, Mary Gaydos.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph and his wife, Deborah, Plains Township; and Jeffrey and his wife, Lynn also of Plains Township; grandchildren, Eric and wife, Candice Bronack; Sarah and Richard Cipoletti, Jeffrey Bronack Jr., Nicole and Andy Laubach, Dylan Bronack, Mark Spittle, Jeremy Spittle and Fiance Maura Otto and Adam Spittle; three great-granddaughters; and a great-grandson; sister, Delphine Biondi; and brother, Paul Santarelli, both of Plains Township.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Michael J. Mikelski Funeral Home, 293 S. River St., Plains Township.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Ss. Peter & Paul Church, Plains Township, with the Rev. John Boyle officiating. Interment will be at Italian Independent Cemetery, W. Wyoming.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. John Prader for the care he provided for the care he provided Nancy over the years.

Because no visitor to Nancy's house left hungry, the family requests donations be made to Ss. Peter & Paul Food Pantry to help feed others.
