Clem Kuras, 81, of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at The Meadows Nursing Center.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Gutauskas Kuras and was a graduate of Meyers High School.

Clem was a corrections officer at State Correctional Institute - Chase and was a member of Daddow Isaacs American Legion Post 672, Dallas.

Surviving are his sons, David Kuras and his wife Julianne, Keller, Texas; Gary Kuras, Dallas; his daughter, Linda Newton, Dallas; his grandchildren, Stephanie Newton and Kimberly Kuras; his great-grandaughter, Megan Newton; his sister, Tillie Godleski; and his brother, Victor Zekas.

Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lehman Township. Anyone attending the service is to go directly to the cemetery.

Mr. Kura's family is inviting anyone who wishes to The Fern Brook Inn for a luncheon to follow the service.
