Gertrude S. Falzone Agliata, formerly a resident of Tompkins Street, Pittston, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Little Flower Manor Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre. She was the wife of the late Carmen Agliata.

Born Dec. 13, 1921, in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore Falzone and Sarah Alu Falzone.

She was a member of the San Cataldo Society of Pittston and St. Rocco's Roman Catholic Church, Pittston.

Surviving are her daughter, Ann Marie and husband, Joseph K. Jordan; grandsons, Bernie and Jeff Skillens, Brian C. Mulhern and Joseph and Kevin Jordan; granddaughters, Christine Dipippo, Tracie Delay and Lindsey Jordan; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Leonardi, Trenton, N.J.; sister, Grace DiPipi, Old Forge; and sons-in-law, Bernie Skillens and Brian Mulhern.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents and husband, by her brother, William Falzone; daughters, Sarah Ann Skillens and Angela Mulhern; and sister, Catherine Leonardi.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gertrude's name to Little Flower Manor Nursing Home, 200 S. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, or Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township.

The viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Those who plan on attending funeral services should be at the funeral home no later than 11 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the Little Flower Manor Nursing Home Chapel, 200 S. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Richard Ghezzi will officiate.

Interment will be held in St. Rocco's Cemetery, Pittston Township.
