Lewis A. Sebia Sr., 79, of, Pittston Twp., passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born in Hazleton, on June, 12, 1938. He graduated from Hazleton High School and married his high school sweetheart, Carol. They celebrated 52 years of marriage before she passed away in 2011.

Lew loved life and loved to laugh with his family and friends. His greatest joy was his family and he took great pride in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; his parents, Anthony and Angeline (Bove) Sebia; and brother, Anthony.

He is survived by five children: son, Lew and wife, Mary Jo; son, James and wife, Mary Ann; son, Robert; daughter, Cathy Sincavage and husband, Stephen; and son, Michael, 13 grandchildren, James, Bryan (Tonte), Alexa, Danielle, Robby, Anthony, Ashleigh, Thomas, Christopher, Sam, Ella, Stephanie and Tyler (Sincavage); great-grandchildren, James Matthew and Quinn; brother, Joseph; sister, Marie (Guydish); and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Twp.Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.

All funeral services will be private and held at the family's convenience. Lew will be laid to rest with his wife in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
