Michael D. Langan, 80, of Stroudsburg, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Chandler Estates, Pen Argyl.

He was the widower of Mary Grace Algar Langan.

Born in Avoca, he was the son of Roland and Anna Healy Langan.

Mike was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 41 years, and prior to that he resided in the Avoca and Philadelphia areas.

Mike was employed as an electrical engineer by the Frankfort Arsenal in Philadelphia, and later by the Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Twp., N.J., retiring in 1988.

Mike was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Stroudsburg and was a Vietnam War veteran.

He was an avid Penn State and Notre Dame fan and was always known for his letters to the editor in the Pocono Record.

Michael is survived by three sons, David and wife, Sheila, Brodheadsville; Jerry and wife, Brooke, Cresco; and Matt and wife, Nicole, Factoryville; a daughter, Patricia Seliga, Nanticoke; and six grandchildren, Cassie, Justin, Raeanne, Piper, Dempsey and Dashel.

There will be a family visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. March 20 at Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc., 23 N. Ninth St., Stroudsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. March 21 in St. Luke's Catholic Church, 818 Main St., Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Carmen Perry as celebrant.
