Joseph G. Letoski of Wilkes-Barre Twp. passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at Timber Ridge Nursing, Wilkes-Barre.

Born May 29, 1942, in Swoyersville, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary Perhach Letoski.

Joseph was a 1961 graduate of Swoyersville High School and was employed by HPG Plastics, Mountain Top, for 39 years.

He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Gaydos, Helen Dwinchick, Florence Magli and, at 4 years old, Marie Letoski, and brothers, Leo, John, Frank and Robert Letoski.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Elaine Heck, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on May 29; daughters, Elaine Letoski and her fiancé, Lee Reiser, Tower City; and Pamela Posse and her husband, Xesus, Ponte Vedra, Fla.; grandsons, Xavier and Lucas Posse; brother, Richard Emery Letoski and his wife, Mary, Hanover Twp.; sister, Anna Mae Delaney and her husband, Jack, Arlington, N.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope Parish, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. John S. Terry, pastor, will be the celebrant.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
