Richard M. Musko of Plains Twp. passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born June 1, 1961, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Dick and Dolores Cullen Musko of Wilkes-Barre.

Richard attended Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and their vocatioal technical program. He was employed as a machinist by Finch Technologies, West Pittston.

He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Twp.

Richard was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Even though he was ill, he still was able to make it to his grandchild's sporting events. He had a great sense of humor, knowing what to say to make people laugh, and would help anyone who needed it. He was an avid NASCAR fan, faithful customer at VJ's, Plains Twp., and enjoyed fixing cars.

Surviving are his former wife, Diana Marcario, Wilkes-Barre; son, Richard Musko and his wife, Chelsea, Wilkes-Barre; daughter, Stephanie Fernandes, Plains Twp.; grandchildren, Keenan and Faylinn Fernandes; sisters, Gloria Thurman and her husband, Michael, Los Angeles, Calif.; Linda Mrak and her husband, Robert, Plains Twp.; and Nicole Rismondo and her husband, Tim, Dallas; and aunt, Geraldine Evanko, Plains Twp.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Simon S. Russin Funeral Home Inc., 136 Maffett St., Plains Twp., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Hudson Road, Plains Twp. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Richard's family would like to acknowledge Dr. Baxi at Sloan Kettering; Dr. S. Hosur and his staff; Dr. B. Martin and Dr. K. Harjai of the Geisinger Heart Hospital; Dr. J. Lee, Dr. Ann Ramish, and the PCU nurses at the Geisinger Pulmonary Department; and Finch Technologies for their care and support during his illness.
