Kenneth Moore, 86, of Dallas, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Raymond and Olive Searfoss Moore and attended the Dallas Boro School.

Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Italy. He was a welder with Air Products until his retirement. Some of his favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Anna Solensky, who passed away in 2002; brothers, Wilford and Charles Moore; and sisters, Jean Salisbury and Geraldine Buchanon.

Surviving are his brother, Edward Moore and his wife, Theresa, Throop; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. Dr. William Lewis, officiating.

Entombment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service Saturday.
