Patricia M. Corcoran, 75, of Plains Township passed away peacefully Monday, July 19, 2010, at her home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alexandra Olszewski Serafin.
She was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and attended College Misericordia, Dallas.
Pat was employed by InterMetro, Wilkes-Barre, in customer service. After her retirement, she worked and donated her time at the Osterhout Free Library, Plains Branch, for many years.
She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church, Plains Township, and a current member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Corcoran, on Jan. 12, 2008; and her sister, Sylvia Serafin.
Surviving are her son, Steven Corcoran and his wife, Linda, Wilkes-Barre; her daughter, Jennifer Corcoran and her companion, Vince Aversano, East Stroudsburg; granddaughter, Danette Shybloski and her husband, Steven, Mountain Top; and her great-grandchildren, Steven James Shybloski and Keira Lynn Shybloski; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains Township. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
