Jennifer Conniff, 38, of Wilkes-Barre died at her home Wednesday evening, Sept. 15, 2010, after suffering with an illness.

She was born June 20, 1972, in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late David L. Conniff.
Jen attended Wyoming Valley West and West Side Vocational Technical schools.
Residing in Edwardsville, Larksville, and Wilkes-Barre for her entire life, she was employed by various nursing homes throughout the valley, as she had a kind, loving, helpful nature toward the sick and elderly.
Jen loved people and had many friends, her laugh was contagious, and she had a soft spot for God's creatures. She always had time to listen, laugh and comfort in any way possible. Jen was an avid reader and wrote poems frequently. She also enjoyed cooking and was always trying out some new recipe. Our loss on Earth will be heaven's gain.
She was preceded in death by her father, David L. Conniff, and her longtime companion, Dennis Murray.
Surviving are her mother, Colleen M. Conniff, and stepfather, Thomas Golden, Shavertown; daughter, Amber Conniff and her companion, Kevin Prula, Edwardsville; sons, Dustin and Cody, both at home; grandchildren, Kevin and Payton Prula; brother, David L. Conniff, Plymouth; grandmother, Helen Brill, Wilkes-Barre; niece, Kaylee Conniff; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
