Mark M. Masley, 58, formerly of Exeter, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Pittsburgh recently.

He was the son of the late John and Mary Vacula Masley of Exeter. He graduated from Wyoming Area High School and attended Luzerne County Community College.
A gifted guitarist, Mark not only played with various rock bands over the years, but he also shared his musical talent by giving guitar lessons to many students. He also worked for various supermarket chains over the 25 years he resided in the Pittsburgh area.
In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his sister-in-law, Rita Masley, Shavertown; and many of his aunts and uncles including, most recently, his "favorite aunt," Doris Vacula, Plains Township.
Mark is survived by his sisters, Regina Umberger and her spouse, Robert, Annapolis, Md.; and Mary Ellen Erwine and her spouse, Terry, Swoyersville; brothers, Edward Romanosky and his spouse, Molly, Exeter; John Masley, Shavertown; and Paul Masley, Exeter. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and two great-nephews, as well as three great-great-nieces. Mark is also survived by several aunts and many cousins, and he touched the lives of many people he knew or met throughout his life.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Brusco-Napier Funeral Service Ltd.
