Paul J. Mizenko, 56, of Dallas passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Hospice Care of the VNA, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Luzerne, he was the son of the late Stephen and Frances Volkar Mizenko.
He attended Sacred Heart School, Luzerne, and graduated from West Side Central Catholic High School, Kingston, and King's College.
Currently he was operations manager for Sonic Restaurants, and previously worked for Denny's Restaurants for 23 years.
He was a member of Fellowship Evangelical Free Church, Dallas, where he was an elder.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Lynn Ostrum Mizenko, in 2010.
Surviving are children, Ann Lynn Smith and her husband, Timothy, Copperas Cove, Texas; Marilyn Moriah Mizenko, at home; and Paul W. Mizenko and his wife, Jessica, Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Mary Mizenko, Luzerne; and grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan, Alana, and a fourth one on the way.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Fellowship Evangelical Free Church, Hildebrant Road, Dallas, with the Rev. Marc Ramirez officiating.
Memorial contributions in Paul's memory may be made to the Fellowship Evangelical Free Church Benevolent Fund.
