Edward B. Hoffman, 69, of Plains Township passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 13, 2012, at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Plains Township, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Verna Suchocki Hoffman.
He was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1961, and was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, 109th Field Artillery, for eight years.
Ed was employed as a truck driver by Huttig, Hanover Township and was proprietor of ACES Subs, Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James D. Hoffman, and his sister, Shirley Hoffman.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, the former Ann M. Jacinski, Plains Township; son, Edward Hoffman and his wife, Sandra, Shavertown; daughter, Vikki O'Connor and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Jessica and Heather Krzwicki and Lauren M. Hoffman; sister, Charlotte Hoffman, Plains Township; nieces and nephews; and his two buddies, Buster and Slugo.
Ed's family would like to thank all employees on the third floor of Little Flower Manor for taking such excellent care of Ed while he was with you, and a special thank you to Jerry Lock, our best friend.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
