Henry J. Jola, 83, of Plymouth passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.

Born in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Joseph and Louise Sharak Jola.
Henry was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1947, and was a member of All Saints Parish of Plymouth.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 463 of Plymouth and Veterans of Foreign Wars Shawnee Post 1425 of Plymouth.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Maxom Corp. and later by Leslie Fay.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Jola; a brother, Chester Jola; and a sister, Constance Vrobel.
Surviving are his daughter, Karen Jola Haydt and her husband, Thomas C. Haydt, Lehighton; grandchildren, Tyler and Victoria Jola; former wife, Patricia Shymansky; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow St., Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Township. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
