Edward Wolczak Jr., 73, of Pittston died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, under the care of Celtic Healthcare Hospice in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Old Forge on Feb. 25, 1939, son of the late Edward Sr. and Mary Wysocki Wolczak, Edward was a graduate of Old Forge High School.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a forklift operator for Mia Products, Moosic.
A social member of both the Dupont Polish Club and the Old Forge Veterans of Foreign Wars, his favorite pastime was playing cards, especially pitch.
Of Roman Catholic faith, he was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.
He is survived by his two children: a daughter, Barbara Bartuska and husband, Ronald Bartuska Jr., Burke, Va.; and a son, Gary Wolczak, Woodside, N.Y. He is also survived by a brother, Walter Wolczak and wife, Phyllis, Hopatcong, N.J.; his former wife, Carol Wolczak, Duryea; his granddaughter, Amanda Bartuska; nieces, nephews and friends. He will be forever missed by those who loved him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church, Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Stephenson Street, Duryea, to be celebrated by the Rev. William Blake. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge.
