James (Unice) J. Jennings Jr. of Nanticoke passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.

James was born Feb. 24, 1933, to James and Della Eckrote Jennings in Dorrance Township.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict. After his military service, he relocated to Newport Township.
James was employed by and retired from General Dynamic Corp., Groton, Conn.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, the former Gladys Smith; brothers, Eugene and Eddy; and sister, Geraldine Smith.
Surviving is a sister, Dolores Rozka.
Unice was loved by so many people and will be forever missed by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Barry Lohman officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday. Private interment will be in Sorber Cemetery, Reyburn.
