Henrietta M. Bielski, 87, of Michigan, formerly of Duryea, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, in Michigan.

Born in Avoca, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Zurowski Shemanski.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Dearborn School District, Dearborn, Mich.
She was an avid crossword puzzler and enjoyed watching "Wheel of Fortune."
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus L. Bielski, who passed away Sept. 24, 1985; son, Barry Bielski, who passed away April 18, 2009; and sisters, Dorothy Bowmen, Cecelia Sudek and Irene Daley Talmage.
Surviving are her son, Gary Bielski and his wife, Victoria, O'Fallon, Ill.; son, Thaddeus (Thad) Bielski and his wife, Roxanne, Melvindale, Mich.; daughter-in-law, Cindy Bielski, Warren, Mich.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral and interment services will be held at noon Thursday in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea, by Deacon Santo Agolino.
