Peter Bielecki Obituary
Born Aug. 10, 1965, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son to Mr. Peter Paul and Mrs. Peggy C. Campbell Bielecki Sr., Wilkes-Barre.
Educated in the city schools, Pete was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1983.
Until health issues caused his early retirement, he had been employed in the daily operations of the family business, Bielecki Scrap and Recycling Center, North Wilkes-Barre, as a truck driver.
Enjoying the outdoors, Pete is remembered as being an avid fisherman, and cherished his time with his children, Peter Paul III and Justine Paige. He also held a special place in his heart for his two beloved dogs, Penelope and Paisley.
He was preceded by both his paternal and maternal grandparents and by an aunt, Mary Ann Charneski.
Surviving, in addtion to his parents, Peter Paul Sr. and Peggy, at home, are his beloved children, Peter Paul Bielecki III and Justine Paige Bielecki, both at home; brother, James Bielecki, Dallas; aunts and uncles, including Frank Bielecki and his wife, Sylvia, Nanticoke; James Bielecki, Nevada; Theresa Bielecki, Nanticoke; Leon Charneski, Wilkes-Barre; and Betty Emery, Honea Path, S.C.; several cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services and interment for Peter Paul will be private and at the convenience of his family from the North Wilkes-Barre location of John V. Morris Family Funeral Homes Inc., 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Joseph Elston, chaplain of Holy Redeemer High School, Wilkes-Barre, officiating.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to join Pete's family for visitation and remembrances from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions may be made in Peter's name to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, or to the Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612.
