Nancy DeBiase Obituary

Nancy DeBiase of Kingston passed away in Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Langhorne. She was born in New York City, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Scarpati and attended the New York City schools.

In the 1950s, she and late husband, Angelo moved to Kingston.

Mrs. DeBiase was a member of the Church of Saint Ignatius Loyola and she also volunteered for the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Auxiliary for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo, a World War II veteran; daughters, Grace and Rosemarie DeBiase; sisters, Peggy, Helen; brother, Anthony.

Surviving are her children, Nancy Allison, Princeton, N.J., Gina Lynch, Woodbridge, Va., Edward DeBiase, Kingston, Gemma Howe, New York City; grandchildren, William Edward Lynch, Nancy Rose Lynch, Roman Howe; great-granddaughter, Emma Rose Lynch; sister Anna, Bronx, New York.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 N. Maple Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Condolences can be sent to the family at: www.maher-collins.com.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the DeBiase family. I have very fond memories of Mrs. D from when I was a child all the way through my adult years. She will be truly missed.
