Joseph Biniek Obituary
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Andrew and Helen Moses Biniek.
Joe was a truck mechanic, starting his career at International Harvester, moving to Thomas C. Thomas, and retiring from the Wilkes-Barre Truck Center. He was also a life member of the Nuangola Rod and Gun Club and an avid trapshooter.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Kelly Biniek, as well as brothers, Andrew and William.
Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Jr. and his wife, Lauralee, Courtdale; and daughters, Joann Noll and husband, Ronald Panuski, and Janine Valkos and husband, Joseph, both of Pittston Twp.; and Judy Serino and husband, Joseph, Wyoming. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brianna and Alexander Noll, Andrew and Cassandra Serino, Adam Valkos, Tyler Biniek and Samantha and Michael Panuski; great-grandson, Jayce Miller; and brothers, Edward Biniek Sr., Plains Twp.; and Thomas Biniek Sr., Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains Twp.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Anthony Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ss. Peter and Paul Food Pantry.
