Robert C. Bob Davis, Jr. Robert C. Bob Davis, Jr., 71, of Topeka, walked into the arms of his Lord on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his home after a long battle with ALS. Bob married Evelyn May Craft on June 7, 1964 in Topeka. She survives of the home. Other survivors include four children, Kimberly Kim Meier (Bill Krause), Rogers, MN and children, Chelsea Obregon, Kennedy Meier, Mason Meier, Brickey Meier and McKensie Meier, Darrel Davis, El Dorado, KS and his children, Destani and Daelin Davis, Donald Donnie Davis, Wyoming, MN, Dion Davis (Heather), Topeka, and children, Hannah Davis, Morgan Davis, Kamryn Davis and Hudson Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Elizabeth Jones and Celia Breault. Bob was cremated. A celebration of life service will be 1 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Northland Christian Church, 3102 NW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, KS 66617. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association, Keith Worthington Chapter, 6950 Squibb Road, Mission, KS 66202. William J. Bill Dinger William J. Bill Dinger, 89, of Topeka, KS died January 23, 2015 at his home. Bill was born December 3, 1925 in Cranberry, WV. He was an Army WW II Veteran. Bill was a welder for BNSF retiring after 32 years of employment. Survivors include his children, Willie Dinger of Scranton, Gaye Wheeler of Mayetta, Chuck Dinger of Topeka, Betty Boatright of Mayetta, Ronnie Dinger of Mayetta and Donna Maxfield of Castlewood, VA. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren also survive. Bill will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Duran, Rosario Birdie  
Rosario Birdie Duran Rosario Birdie Duran, 82, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Rosario was born November 2, 1932, in Topeka, the daughter of Jose and Nemesia Hurtado Tostado. On February 2, 1951, Rosario and Augustine Duran were united in marriage, enjoying over 53 years together. He passed away April 12, 2004. Rosario was a member of St. Matthew Church where, at one time she had been a volunteer in the school cafeteria. She loved to cook and made sure no one left her table hungry. Rosario was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose joy was taking care of her family. She will be dearly missed. Her survivors include her children, Rosalie Conly (William), Donald Duran (Rosie), Gabriel Duran, all of Topeka and Janet Wickham (Bill) Berryton: 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Delores Culver, Oceanside CA, Frank Tostado, Huntington Beach CA, Susanna Marcholie, Hacienda Heights CA and Jesse Tostado, Oceanside CA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Matthew Church with a parish rosary prayed at 7:30 p.m. at the Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Presbyterian Manor and St. Matthew Church, sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614.
