Ericka Jo Lynn Agee, 16, of Topeka went home to be with Jesus on Friday, Aug. 27, 2004. She was born May 11, 1988 at Topeka the daughter of Robert N. and Teresa L. Weiss Agee. Ericka was a junior at Jefferson West High School. She belonged to FCCLA, Debate Team and Golf Team. She had been in the play Godspell at Jeff West. She loved learning and had a 4.0 grade point average since kindergarten. She planned on becoming a teacher and missionary in Russia following her education. She loved her classmates and teachers at Jefferson West and her church youth groups. She loved butterflies and the color pink. She was baptized at Northland Christian Church in Topeka. She was also baptized in the Holy Spirit at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Topeka. She loved Jesus, and wanted everyone to know Him. She never met a stranger. She thought all people were worth loving. She was always joyful and happy. She was a member of the Jefferson Assembly Youth Group, where she was a youth leader. She had completed the Star s Program at Jefferson Assembly. She was a member of Oakland Christian Church in Topeka, where she served as a praise and worship team leader. At her church she also taught Vacation Bible School, primary aged children in Sunday School, and would often sing solos at worship service. Her favorite song was Alabaster Box. Ericka is survived by her parents, Rev. Robert and Teresa Agee of Topeka; her brother, Justin; her two sisters, Amber and Jamie; Her grandparents, Wayne and Donna Agee, Lakeway, Texas, and Pat Krallman, Topeka; her aunts, uncles and cousins, which include, Bruce and Tiffany Agee and their children, Bryson and Matthieu, Horseshoe Bay, Texas, Jill Agee and her children Jennifer and Julie, Lakeway, Texas, Larry and Brenda O Hara and their children, Jon, Nick and Sarah, her favorite cousin, Topeka; Randy and Diane Weiss and their children, Amanda, Jason and Ashley, Michigan, Martin Weiss and Annette Licktieg and his children, Jaco b, Aaron, Nie sa, Clinton and Brianne of Overland Park, Matt Krallman, Kansas, Donna and Bennie Munoz and their children, Melissa, Joshua and Jonnathan, of Topeka; and her godmother, Sue Paul of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her Pa Pa, Jim Krallman. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka. She will lie in state from 12 to9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Assembly of God, north of Meriden. Interment will be in Meriden Cemetery. The family wishes in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be sent to the Ericka Agee Memorial Fund, which the family will designate later. They can be sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home. The family would like for anyone attending the service to wear Ericka s Favorite Color, pink. Remember Ericka, but worship Jesus, John 3:16.
