June Ella Ellerman June Ella Ellerman, 98, of Nortonville, KS died Tuesday Dec. 31st, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, KS. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 4th, 2014 at the Nortonville Pleasant Grove Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Nortonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Nortonville Pleasant Grove Christian Church and may be sent in care of the O'Trimble Funeral Home, Nortonville, KS. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com. June E. Locklin was born on June 16, 1915 in Nortonville, KS the daughter of William and Irene (Stockwell) Locklin. She graduated from Nortonville High School in 1933, celebrating her 80th Alumni Reunion this past May. She was a cook for the Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville for 20 years from 1968-1988. June was a member of the Nortonville Pleasant Grove Christian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, dominoes and sewing. She also was a 4-H Leader teaching cooking. June was married to Albert Ellerman on May 1, 1934 in Armour Junction; MO. Mr. Ellerman preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 2007. Survivors include her children: Evelyn (Francis) Lorenz, Atchison, KS, Leroy (Sally) Ellerman, Marvin (Sue) Ellerman, Kenneth (Eileen) Ellerman all of Effingham, KS, and Debbie (Perry) Kadous, Topeka, KS, a daughter in law, Susie Ellerman, Topeka, KS, a sister, Pearl (Don) Cowley, Nortonville, KS, fifteen (15) grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews. A son, Phillip Ellerman, three sisters, and one brother preceded her in death. June Ellerman
