Marie (Alejos) Thompson Marie Alejos Thompson passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 23, surrounded by family. She was 85 years old.

Marie attended Topeka High School and Clarks School of Business. She worked for years in downtown Topeka at Hallmark Calandra's Card Shop and Tiny Folks. She retired from Village Cleaners in 1999.

Marie enjoyed watching movies and an occasional visit to the casino, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert W. Thompson, Jr.; her mother and father, Sergio and Felicitias Alejos; and her brother, Manual Alejos.

Survivors include daughters Michele Moss (John) and Pamela Kietzman; brothers Auggie Alejos (Lee), Henry Alejos (Jolly), Bobby Alejos (Candy), Philip Alejos, Richard Alejos (Maxine), Louie Alejos (Charlotte), and Leo Alejos; sisters Anna Decker, Mary Barrientos and Rosie Fontane (Freddy); and seven grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606
